Enrichment Programs

The Uintah Recreation District is always looking for classes that can be taught in our community.  If you have a talent that you love to share, such as foreign cooking, drama, dance, pottery, painting, the options are endless, you can contact the Uintah Recreation District. Classes can be for youth or adult.

Enrichment Classes Wanted!

Taekwondo is the Korean martial art of empty hand fighting. The class will consist of the student learning how to balance his or her mind and body. Skills taught include kicking, punching, striking, self defense maneuvers, and offensive techniques. As students learn, they will progress through 9 levels of ranking to achieve black belt status.

This program is for ages 10 through Adult. 8 and 9 year olds may be able to join but must first meet with the instructor, Master Carson Lund 435-823-6459

Patrons will not be allowed to attend until registered.

Tuition is due before the first class of each month. Uniforms are available for purchase through Master Lund. Please contact the Welcome Desk with any questions 435-781-0982.

The Babysitting Basics course uses video, activities, games and tools to help young people become better babysitters. After you complete the course, you’ll get a certificate of completion. Basic CPR and first aid is included to make you a more confident babysitter.

Escape Room Adventure

Join us for an immersive 4-Week Escape Room Adventure!  This enrichment program is designed to challenge young minds and sharpen critical thinking skills through the art of logic and puzzle-solving.  Whether your child is a budding detective or a future designer, we have the perfect level for them to explore.
