Packet pickup Friday, July 18th from 5am - 5pm at the Uintah Recreation Center 610 S Vernal Ave. or race day 5-5:45 am at McCoy Flats Trailhead.
Register by July 3rd to guarantee a T-shirt. Rest will be given as available.
Course starts at the trailhead and follows cookies and combo.
From Vernal, UT travel approximately 3 miles West on Highway 40. Turn left (south) at McCoy Flat Road and travel for 3.2 miles to the main trailhead.

Firecracker 5K
Start your 4th of July off with a bang with the Firecracker 5k! Starting at UBTech and ending at the Ashley Community Park.
Professional timing system used. Results will be posted online.

Packet pickup July 3rd at the Uintah Recreation Center 5am - 5pm or July 4th from 6am at UBTech 450 N 2000 W. Check-in is 6 - 6:45am at UBTech. Race starts at 7am sharp. Parking available at Ashley Valley Community Park, Walking Park and UBTech. Shuttle will be available to transport from the park/Colton Pavilion to UBTech before the race from 6 -6:30am. NO shuttle service after the race.

Jolly Jog
3rd annual Jolly Jog! Join the army of Santas for this one mile jog from Uintah Recreation Center to Cobble Rock Park and back. Fun race for the whole family! Donuts and hot cocoa, raffle prizes and awards for best Santa costume- youth and adults. After the race, be part of the fun during the Holly Days celebration in Vernal.

Check in will be at 2:30 at the rec center. Kids will swim then get their bikes on the patio and ride around the block starting at rec center towards 1500 South turn right towards 500 West turn right towards 500 South turn right back to the Rec Center. They will then run 1 lap around the center. Bring bikes to pool patio before race. Parents can bike and run with younger children.
Children will be divided into heats for the race, youngest to oldest. Life jackets are available for use. Showers must be taken before entering the pool. Swimming will be 50 yards, one time down and back. Racers will then bike around the rec center block. Helmets and shoes must be worn. Medal, shirt and prize for each child. Bounce house and popsicles after the race. (This counts as a passport to summer activity)
Race route: South on Vernal Ave from the Rec Center, Right on 1500 North, Right on 500 W, Right on 500 South back the the rec center. Staff will be along the route, marked with cones. Aid station with water and Gatorade at 1500 N and 500 W. Bikes will be parked in front of the Uintah Recreation Center and kids will run one lap around the Center.
Parents can bike and run with younger children. No T-shirts provided.
Glow Motion 5K
We're excited for the Glow Motion 5k at the Dinaland golf course in Naples! Come early and get some dinner or snacks at Dinaland Cafe! Or after the race if you have time. The cafe will be open until 9pm. Some glow swag is available in bags as well as limited body glow paint at the start of the race. Feel free to come in your own glow gear as well! Party at the finish line! Photo op, music, black lights, snacks, winner awards!
Glow in the dark finisher medals for all runners, Winner awards and trophies for men's, women's and youth 10 and under division. 1st place $75, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $25.

NOTE OF TIME CHANGE! Race start time has been changed to 7:45 pm so everyone can really GLOW! It will still be light at this point and getting darker near the end of the race. If you plan on walking or running slower, plan accordingly and maybe bring a flashlight (there will be one in each swag bag!) The course will be marked with green cones with glow necklaces.
Swag bags for each participant. Bags (which will also have your race bib with the timing chip) will be available for pick up at Uintah Recreation Friday, April 24th from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm or at race check-in at the Golf Course from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm. We encourage early pick up. Race will begin near the pavilion by the parking lot in the golf course.
Mountain Madness
50 mile run through the Ashley National Forest near Vernal, Utah! Run by yourself or with a group.
Located at the Red Cloud Loop turn-off to Remember the Maine Park.
