    Our Kid’s Boot camp is an exciting and fun way for kids to exercise and learn healthy lifestyle habits. We focus on good movement, having fun, teamwork, and confidence building. The program is based primarily on running, drills, games, body weight exercises, etc, and introduces the basics of safe weight training. With each workout, your kids will learn and practice functional movements involving exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play. They will participate in fun workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes. They will pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump.

    Want a more accurate assessment of your overall health? Come get a body scan! A regular scale gives a number only. The Inbody scanner uses bio electrical technology for a reliable, in-intrusive measure of total body composition; overall weight., lean muscle mass, water retention, body fat mass, bone density and more!

     

    A body scan takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is done by standing on the machine and gripping the handles. You will receive a print out of your results. If you would like, staff can review the results with you. To go more in depth over your results, receive assistance with fitness goals, or any questions contact Amber Hadlock at 435-781-0982 ext. 106.

     

    Body Scan is $20.

    Body scans are available Monday - Friday 8am - 9:30pm. For earlier hours, Saturday, or if you would like your scan completed by a specific staff member, please call Amber at 435-781-0982 ext.106 to schedule an appointment.

    The Uintah Community Center offers supervised child care for members utilizing the facility. The area is stocked with a variety of books, toys, and games to keep your little ones occupied. Parents are required to remain on the premise while their children are in child care. Child care is included with facility membership as long as the child is included in the family membership. Child care is available for ages 6 weeks to 8 years old.

    Get out of the cold! Fun indoor activities in the gym including bikes and teeter totters for toddler and preschool age children. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

     

    Indoor playground runs from January 7 - March 28, 2025.

    The Uintah Community Center has two full size basketball courts that can be used for various activities. This is the place to practice up on basketball or volleyball, or even reserve the inflatable obstacle course!

    Various Adult and Youth leagues play their games in the Community Center gymnasium. Please call if you have questions about open gym times.

    Open gym times are subject to change. Watch for updates regarding any changes.

    Please note that gym space may be limited from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm due to team practices or league play.

    Top Rope Certification Program

    Our Top Rope Certification Course gives climbers access to the climbing wall during any hours of business at Uintah Recreation Center. In this course you will be taught how to belay, access the climbing wall, tie the necessary knots, properly fit a climbing harness, the names of the gear and how to use them. This course is taught by our Personal Climbing Instructors. By the end of the course you will have access to the climbing wall outside of the Open Wall Hours. You will be able to belay friends, family, and other Certified Climbers. We hope you will consider becoming a member of your growing climbing community!

    Family is based on (4) immediate family members living in the same house AND claimed on the same tax forms. Each Additional Child is $45 yearly, or $3.75 per month.

     

    The "12-Month Contract Payment Plan" is non-cancelable. A 30-day notice must be given to cancel the "Monthly No Contract Plan."

    Each year memberships will increase 1%

    **3% convenience fee for credit card transactions.**

    Locker rentals are available for $5/month for small lockers and $10/month for large and are sold in 3 month increments.
