Intro to Weight Training
Small group training with a personal trainer! Learn how to use weight room equipment and plan your own workouts. Dumbbells, cable machines, and exercise machines will be covered. Let us help you reach your goals and feel confident in creating and executing workouts! 4 week course.

Uintah Basin Strongman Competition Events and Rules
Event 1 - Yoke Carry

Participants will carry the yoke in a back rack position 50’ for time (60 second cap)

Womens Lightweight = 225 (rig +10’s)

Womens Midweight = 285 (rig +25’s)

Womens Heavyweight = 365 (rig +45’s)

Mens Lightweight = 365 (rig+45’s)
-
Mens Midweight = 465 (rig+45’s + 25’s)

Mens Heavyweight 565 (rig+45’s + 8-25’s)
Event 2 - Trap bar Deadlift
-
Participants will have 1 minute to perform as many reps as possible

No Straps will be allowed

Womens Lightweight = 185

Womens Midweight = 225

Womens Heavyweight = 275

Mens Lightweight = 275

Mens Midweight = 315

Event 3 - Sandbag Hold
-
Participants will pick up sandbag from 30’’ box and hold the sandbag in a bear hug position for as long as possible

Arms and fingers may overlap but cannot “lock”

Womens Lightweight = 100

Womens Midweight = 150

Womens Heavyweight = 200

Mens Lightweight = 200

Mens Midweight = 250

Mens Heavyweight = 300
Event 4 - Truck Pull
Participants will be harnessed to a truck and will pull themselves approximately 100’ with the aid of a rope

Womens and Lightweight men will pull a ½ ton truck
-
Mid and Heavyweight Mens will pull a 1 ton truck
Event 5 - Strongman Medley
Participants will perform a variety of movements including: Farmer Carry, Sled Push, mini fingal finger, Atlas Stones, and Tire Flip in a timed course
*Only equipment not allowed is straps for Deadlift portion
