About Us
Uintah Special Service District 1 was created to serve the people of Vernal and the surrounding communities. Our mission is simple. Provide places, programs, and experiences that help people stay active, connect with others, and enjoy the outdoors.
The District is guided by a seven-member Board of Directors and supported by a dedicated professional staff who care deeply about recreation and community.
From parks and programs to aquatics, the community center, and Dinaland Golf Course, we work year-round to provide recreational opportunities for people of all ages.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to Building our Community Together and creating experiences that help our community feel proud, connected, and Uintah Strong.
